Justice in Clinical Research

Increasing the number of Black participants in clinical trials can help shift harmful narratives and reduce racial health gaps. Mistrust in clinical trial studies is justified given the historical (and not so historical) harm caused in Black communities. We aim to engage community in developing corrective actions that address accountability, transparency, and data sovereignty in research studies. The stance at My Health Reimagined is that the communities most harmed by extractive clinical research are most qualified to govern its transformation. We are building the community-controlled infrastructure to make that transformation structurally possible, measurable, and replicable. Stay tuned…
